Garage/Bake Sale
The response from volunteers for this event is small. We currently have a total of 6 volunteers for this event. The response will need to be much greater this Sunday in order to hold an event this spring. A decision to move forward with this event will be decided after this Sunday’s responses are received. A meeting for February 11 at 6:30 pm is scheduled for the advertising team. We currently do not have anyone interested in this team but hopefully volunteers will come forward this Sunday.

Angel Food Ministries
Lodema was notified this past week that there is no need for our services in this area at this time. This idea has been tabled. A Big Thanks to Lodema for researching this service.

Kitchen Info
Sharon was notified this week that in order to hold an event in our kitchen we only need to fill out a form to notify the Health Department. Cindy Harman has verified this with the Health Department and no additional audits will need to be performed. Cindy has also provided me with the appropriate documentation. During an event at least one licensed person must be present. Currently Lois Losee is licensed and Sharon Houser is in the process of becoming licensed. Both these individuals have volunteered on the Followers of Faith Team. A Big Thanks to Sharon Houser and Cindy Harman for following up on these issues.

Cookie/Candy Walk
We have 5 volunteers so far interested in this event. A meeting will be scheduled sometime in March to look into this event.

New Events

Another meeting for Followers of Faith is scheduled for February 16 at 6:30 pm at the church. Everyone is welcome to discuss more ideas for events. Some possibilities to be discussed at this meeting are: Wishing Well, Concert, Ethnic Meal Nights, Fall Party, Fish Fry, and any others you may have think of.
