Our first event has been scheduled!! The Garage/Bake sale will be held May 2 from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm. Please mark your calendars now and start gathering up items to be placed in the garage sale. We will be needing help from all of you on that day.

The Advertising Team met on Tuesday Feb. 10 (Gary Arnold, Rosanna Mc Fadden, Angi Marcin) to set the date for the garage/bake sale and discuss advertising options for the event. We will be advertising on WFRN, Channel 16, Channel 22, and in the Elkhart Truth and Goshen News.

We are also looking into making flyers to pass out at the Green Valley garage sale, using large plywood signs to place at intersections in our area, and making a large vinyl sign for the front of the church.

We are also asking for members of the congregation to ask friends, family members, and neighbors to donate items for the garage sale.

March 16 6:30 pm – Cookie/Candy Walk Team

Please bring more ideas to the February 16 meeting. Some items of discussion will be:
Wishing Well
Cook Book
Ethnic Night
And any others you would like to discuss

The Set-Up team will be discussing drop off dates for the garage sale, display items needed, pricing, and much, much, more.

We are still in need of several volunteers for the pick-up team. This team will be picking up large items from homes if needed and taking items left over from the sale to local charities. Please let Scott Harney or Angi Marcin know if you are interested.

The overwhelming response I have received from all of you in regards to this event has been remarkable and I look forward to working with all of you to make this event a success.
