How many of you have had a chance to look at the church calendar in Cindy’s office? If you haven’t I suggest you do. It is filling up quickly for the rest of this year. Isn’t that great. We are DOING!!!!! I’m energized to know that you are all just as motivated to work towards the future as I am. Isn’t it exciting!?! Over the past few weeks the Followers of Faith and other related teams have met a total of 6 times. Everyone is working hard to make all our events a success.

Garage/Bake Sale
May 2 8:00am – 2:00pm There is a sign up sheet on the wall in front of the coat room. Please sign up to help the day of the sale. We will need as many volunteers as we can get. Drop-off dates are April 20 – 25. You can drop off items at any time during regular office hours to the locations provided below. If you need assistance unloading your car there will be someone to help you on Monday 4/20 during the day, Thursday 4/23 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, and all day Saturday 4/25 until 6:00pm. We are asking that you mark as many of your items as possible. Please mark all items in quarter increments.

Antiques – Onward classroom
Adult Clothing – Onward Classroom
Children’s clothing – Early Childhood classroom
Children’s toys – Early Childhood classroom
Electronics – Onward classroom
Christmas – Early Childhood classroom
Lawn & Garden – Onward classroom
If you are dropping off large furniture please contact Scott Harney and he will make sure someone is available to open the garage.

If you have requested a pick up you will be contacted this week. If you have not been contacted by Friday 4/17 and you need a pick up please contact Scott Harney.

Please continue to bring your hangers and plastic bags.

We are in need of pylons the day of the sale if you have any we could borrow please call Angi Marcin.

Cookbook
We are still in need of your recipes. Please place your recipes in Angi Marcin’s mailbox through the month of May.

Thanks to all who have volunteered to type/print/proofread recipes. We could still use more volunteers to type recipes. If you are interested please let Angi know.

We will be having a training session on May 3 immediately following worship for anyone typing or printing recipes. This should not take more than 10-15 minutes.

Wishing Well
We have collected a grand total of $95.00 in the wishing well. Thanks to everyone dropping in their change every week!!!!

Avon
Have you seen Jenny to place your Avon order? Remember every order we place or every customer you send Jenny’s way will be a donation to the church. ORDER TODAY!!

Fish Fry
MARK THIS DATE ON YOUR CALENDAR: JULY 18

We will need every able body to volunteer for this event. This will be a great opportunity not only to make money for our church programs but what a wonderful way to introduce the community to Creekside. They already know how great our pancakes and sausage are I’m sure they’ll want to check out our fish.

Cookie/Candy Walk
The Cookie/Candy Walk is scheduled for December 12. We are looking for 800 dozen cookies for this event. Start baking cookies now. Have you scheduled your class activity for this summer or early fall. Why not have cookie baking days?
