Sound System Operators
Set up microphones and other equipment as needed before services,
operate sound system including mixing of microphones during
worship or other services, record services on tape or other
media, take down and put away microphones and other equipment
afterwards. 1-2 Sunday mornings per month. Time
commitment on average 2-3 hours per Sunday morning. Other
programs as
available and assigned.
Computer/Video Projection System Operators
Operate Computer/Video Projection System at appropriate times during Worship Services or other programs. Time commitment on average 2 hours per Sunday morning, 1-2 Sunday mornings per month. Other programs as available and assigned.
Video Camera Operators
Video record appropriate portions of Worship Service for the
web or other uses. Video record other events or create videos
as assigned. Time commitment on average 1-2 hours per Sunday
morning, 1-2 Sunday mornings per month. Other programs
as available and assigned.
Tape/CD Ministry Recorders/Duplicators
Record the sermon or other services and make duplicate cassettes, CDs, or DVDs of services or other recorded events for those who want them, usually after church, before the end of Sunday School. Create labels, etc., and apply. Deliver/mail to those who request them. File masters (if used) for future use/reference. Time commitment on average 2-3 hours per Sunday, 1-2 Sundays per month.
Floor Managers
Gets wireless mikes to those who need them and retrieves them after use. Carries around wireless hand mike for "Joys & Concerns". Changes batteries in wireless mikes if batteries die during service. Repositions stand mikes as needed. Is second pair of eyes and ears for sound and video operators. Other miscellaneous duties as required. Time commitment on average 2 hours per Sunday morning, 1-2 Sunday mornings per month.
Web Content Providers
Write articles, provide general information, and other requested
content for use on the church website. Be on top of what's
going on in the church and provide appropriate content. Take
digital photos of events if needed or work with photographer
to provide needed photographs. Update calendar items and
be sure information is up to date. Content is to be provided to
web master for inclusion on website. Does not require website
creation knowledge but a working knowledge of the church
website is helpful.
Photographers
Take digital still photos of church events, stills, people, or other things as assigned. Should have own good quality digital camera to use. Camera should be able to use a memory card, preferably an SD card, which will be provided. Camera with ability to take good quality video footage a plus. Photos may be used on the church website, as backgrounds for projected media during the Worship service, or in The Creekside Connection newsletter. Time commitment on average 3-4 hours per month.
Computer/Video
Projection Screen Creators
Compile needed resources (hymn words, scripture, videos,
graphics, etc.) into computer software for Worship Services.
Time commitment on average 3-4 hours
usually one day/evening during the week, 1-2 times per month. Other programs
as available and assigned.
