Thomas E. Lamb
February 1, 1931 - February 14, 2015
Thomas E. Lamb, 84, of
Elkhart and formerly of 13 The Willows in Goshen, died at 3:30 a.m.
Saturday, February 14, at Riverside Village in Elkhart.
He was born February
1, 1931, in Elkhart, to Ellington Comstock and Nellie (Welter) Lamb.
He married Betty Lou
(Stutsman) Lamb on June 11, 1955. She survives.
Also surviving are his
grandchildren, Maurice (Kristen) Lamb of Cincinnati, Jozette Lamb
of Bloomington and Bobby Lamb of Goshen; and great-grandchildren
Zao Lamb, Serenity Lamb and Flora Lamb.
Preceding him in death
were his parents; son Dean Lamb; brothers William and Robert Lamb;
and a sister, Betty Armstrong.
Thomas served with the
U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was discharged in 1953.
He was a tool and die maker at CTS, a member of Creekside Church
of the Brethren and a member of American Legion Post 143 in Bristol.
Visitation will be for
an hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 21, memorial
service at Creekside Church of the Brethren, 60455 C.R. 113, Elkhart.
Pastor Frank Ramirez and Pastor Elizabeth Kelsey will officiate.
Burial will be in West Goshen Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers,
memorials may be directed to the Creekside Church of the Brethren
Memorial Fund or to the American Heart Association in Thomas' name.
